Export and import business that involve fish is a major business for the people of Porbandar. The largest company that exports fish from Gujarat is based here. How to Reach Porbandar

Reaching Porbandar by road, train of a flight is easy. If travelling by road it is about 419 Kms from the city of Ahmedabad. It is also well connected to various other cities in Gujarat like Jamnagar and Rajkot. The travelling distance from Jamnagar is about 124 kms where as the distance of the city from Rajkot is around 187 kms.

Porbandar has an airport which apart from civilian operations also has military presence. The Porbander railway station is the main rail connection to the area. Regular train services are available to places such as Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vadodara, Surat, Banwad, Okha and Mumbai.
